Theatre in Education (TIE)

Theatre in Education performances aims to educate young children through the power of entertainment.

In January and February we offer performances of the Smart Brothers Road Safety Show to Primary Schools in Kent. In order to cover all the schools around the County we alternate districts year on year.

The aim of the presentation is to educate the pupils and make them safer on the roads. Although the overriding message is to Stop, Look, Listen and think before crossing the road, other very important messages are dealt with

  • Cycling safely
  • Safer places to cross the road
  • The dangers of playing, using mobile and listening to music near the road.

Using a mixture of juggling, unicycling, circus skills, song and plenty of audience participation the Smart Brothers manage to keep the pupils attention for nearly 45 minutes.

A wonderful way to get important Road Safety messages across to children
